3/9 Many customers fished Montauk this past weekend -  the boats fished Block Island,  the fishing was great on Saturday with boats returning to the dock at 11 a.m. with all fares limited out.  Sunday the fishing was slow, Monday the fishing was the the same as Saturday, with boats returning early and all fares limiting out.  Biggest fish were between 5 & 10 lbs, best fishing was done with jigs and jelly worm teasers.

A couple of our customers fished Captree for Cod this weekend, with fishing being OK but nearly as good as Montauk.

Captain Dave from Sheepshead Bay reported only a few ling and Cod taken this weekend.

From the Shore Herring fishing was excellent from Coney Island Pier, best time was Sunset into the darkness.  Best Rigs were Tsunami Herring Rigs with Dodgers.
