Mark Sarubi from Tamaqua Marina caught a 18 lbs 13 oz
Blackfish on South Reef. The fish was kept alive
and then released.

Mike G. caught a 10.5 lbs Blackfish fishing on the Ocean
Eagle on 12/5.

Tom Brennan landed a 10 lb 8 oz Blackfish fishing aboard
the Big M Express off Asbury in 50 foot of water. 11/24
Ron Robertson caught a 13 lb Cod and a 3 b 5 oz Sea bass
on the Viking, which was fishing off Block Island.
The fish were caught on clams. He also caught some
Conga eels and ling.

Domenick, Carlo, Shlimo landed a 135 lbs yellowfin
aboard yhe Danielle 80 miles offshore from Breezy Point
Jetty.

Christina Masterson caught a 39", 22 lb 7 oz
Striper. She was fishing on the Blue Sea, the bass was
caught on Herring.

JD Weber and Cliff caught 22 Albacore fishing near the
Jetty.

16 year old Christopher Barclay landed a 36 lb Striped
Bass while on a fishing trip with his dad Vinny in
Montauk. This biggest catch of the day was caught
while using live Porgy. 9/20
Darryl Warner fought 20 minutes and landed a 70 lb Tuna
while fishing on the Big Jamaica this weekend.

Triggerfish fishing by Floyd Bennett Field.

the Marine Parkway Bridge. He caught his first keeper
Fluke on Peanut Bunker. 9/6

Marine Parkway Bridge aboard Fish on Charters on clam

"Reef Runner" while she was fishing with her
mother and grandfather.

Magbe Schile caught a 7 lb 6 oz Fluke at the Ambrose
Channel. The Fluke was caught on a spearing and squid

Matin Vezzuto caught 3 Fluke on Peru
Spearing. He caught 2 - 5 lbs, and 1 - 5 lbs 5 oz
He also had a few 19" Fluke that were released. 8/2
Sue Hansen caught her 1st keeper fluke this week.
It weighted in at 3 lbs 4 oz. She caught it on
squid & spearing. 8/1
Ed Hannigan & Steven Burke caught a 22 lbs Striped
Bass on the Gaffer fishing the Mud Buoy. He caught
it on a bunker chunk. They also pulled in 3 other
Striped Bass and as many Blues as they wanted.

Capt. Donald Wu caught 2 Black Drum weighing in at 76
& 80 lbs. He was fishing at the Rockaway Reef
and caught both fish on clams.

fluke, using a 1 oz spro chartreuse 7/21
Nick Apadiacos Jr. was fishing 35 miles east of Montauk
on the boat Kojak when he landed a 6' 8" ,
160 lb Mako.

Cory Reilly caught a 12 lbs Fluke on a Squid, Spearing
& Sand eel combination fishing the out going tide in
about 40 feet of water by the Maine Parkway Bridge.

contest, Bluefish category, with a 14Lb Bluefish caught
on the Jetty with Bunker Chunk.

Tony N. Abbas caught a 36 lbs 14 oz Striped Bass on a
live eel in Montauk. He had 3 fish over 20 lbs. He
is the new leader for Striped Bass in the Bernie's
fishing contest. He also leads in the Porgy category.

Boy fishing the Atlantic Highland.

Bruce Sucher caught a 9 lb 9 oz fluke on a 1 oz Spro
bucktail with a strip of Sea Robin. He caught it
by the 2 Buoy in Jamaica Bay.

Vincent Isoldi caught a 7 lbs 13 oz fluke by the Marine
Pkwy Bridge on a squid & spearing combo.
He had 4 keepers in total. He was on the boat
"Wahoo"

using squid and spearing, weighing in at 3lbs 7 oz and 3

John Cosenza is the new leader in the Bernie's fishing
contest with a 24lbs 9oz Striped Bass, caught on a live
bunker in the back of Jamaica Bay by the airport.
He also had a 16lbs Bass that was released.

Jamaica Bay.

caught a 2 lb 6 oz Flounder. He also landed 10
keepers, all were caught on mussels.

caught a 24 lb Bass fishing on the Gaffer II captained
by Bob McGann, fishing at Romer Shoul. The fish
was caught on Clam.

his boat the Patti Marie fished the Marine Park Bridge
and landed a 7 1/2 lb Fluke, a 4 1/4 lb and another.

had 18 keeper flounder by Floyd Bennett Field.

the Karen Ann reported limiting out on Striped Bass,
fishing in the back of the bay by Broad Channel.

aboard the Gaffer reports excellent Striped Bass
fishing off Romer Shoal. He limited out on keeper
stripers and had many throw backs.

Staten Island reports limiting out on Stripers using
6" Tsunami Shads in front of Great Kills Harbor.
