Ralph, Vincent & Alex from the store had 75 throw
back Fluke and 2 keepers, fishing the 22 buoy off Coney
Island using Spro buck tails, Gulp, Spearing and
Squid. 8/2
Fares from the Captain Dave reported excellent Fluke
fishing off of Coney Island with a half dozen keepers
taken on the boat using Spearing & Squid. 7/15
John fished he Jetty and caught a 6 lb Fluke using Squid
& Spearing 7/3
Nick Ruggiero landed a Striped Marlin weighing in at 90
lbs while fishing in Cabo. 7/4
Don Knox caught 2 fish weighing in at 179 lbs and 228
lbs while fishing at the Tanaku Lodge in Alaska this 4th
of July weekend. 7/8
Art Pitts landed a 40lb Striper on Bunker by Ambrose 7/4
Ricky Patat landed a 10 1/2 lbs Fluke off the Marine
Parkway Bridge using Squid & Spearing. 7/3
MoJoe caught plenty of shorts 18"-20" by
the Marine Parkway Bridge using Berkley Gulp
w/spearing. And also ha a 8.8 lb and 4.5 lb Fluke. 7/2
- 8 year old Dharmesh Ramsanie landed a 38 lbs Striper
while fishing with live bunker at the"Jetty" 7/2
Bobby & Ronnie while fishing on the "Patty
Marie" , Ronnie landed a 14.8 lb Fluke, while using
Fluke Balls with Spearing and Squid. 6/19
Valentin Netes landed a Black Drum about 80 lbs while
fishing Breezy Point Lighthouse using Fluke tackle. 6/18
Anthony Iocolano fished Roma Shoal using Bunker Chunks
and land 6 Striped Bass up to 26.4 lbs. 6/18
Phil landed a 22.6 lb Bass while fishing off the Jetty
with Bunker Chunks 6/14
Chris Saselu caught a 9 lb 2 oz Fluke while
fishing off Rockaway with Bucktail and teasers on the
Triple "S" 6/5
Bob McLino, Ron Bloss and Patty Morri fished by
Floyd Bennett Field Bouy 5 and caught a 6.8 lb Fluke. 5/31
John Nellis and Eddie Ryman landed a 30 lb Snook while
fishing in Florida. 5/29
Roberto weighed in a 46.5 lb Bass that he caught on his
boat using Bunker 5/27
Mickal Kolesnikov (The Russian General) was fishing with
our good customer Roman on the Maria and caught a 5.5 lb
Fluke which was 27 inches. 5/27
Captain Mike & Lemon caught over 100 Stripers
and Blues on diamond jigs at East Rockaway Reef on
Sunday morning. 5/27
Michael & Nick from Bernie's landed 60 Stripers and
Blue at Old Orchard while using Bunker. 5/24
Moises Medina caught a 14.5 lb Striper while fishing
Floyd Bennett Field on Bunker 5/24
Joe (12 years old) landed a 22 lb Bass while fishing
on his boat near Kingsboro. This was Joe's
first keeper Striper. Congratultions! 5/17
Dominick Colavito and his son Jake Colavito were fishing
Debbs Inlet in about 80 ft of water today when they
landed a 40.2 lb Striped Bass.

Curtis Lybrand weighed in a 52 lb 52 inch Striped
Bass this morning. He caught it while fishing in
Plumb Beach. 5/11
Seth Postell landed a 37 lb 43 inch Bass using a gold
jig. He was fishing in New Jersey. 5/3
Shane McCray landed a 17.8 lb Stripper while fishing by
Sea Gate. 4/23
Anglers have reported all week good catches of striped
bass - best fishing has been with clam bait
- best areas have been Romer Shoal and False
Channel - fish up to 25 lbs have been taken on
almost every tide. Friday morning saw many anglers
taking Stripers and Blues on live Bunker and Bunker
chunks between the South Channel Bridge and Kennedy
Airport. Stripers up to 30 lbs and Blue fish up to
12 lbs were taken. Flounder fisherman reported
excellent catches all week long on the Plum Beach flats
and Coney Island Flats, mussels and sandworms were the
best baits. Heavy chumming recommended - Fish up
to 4 lbs were taken. This
past Monday the crew from Bernie's fished with Captain
Kevin with Blue Sea Charters out of Green Harbor,
Ma. We limited out with 80 Cod fish by 9:30 am and
caught a load of Pollack and Haddock to finish off the
day. 4/22
Lou Casale landed a 37 lb striped bass while fishing on
the "Faylou" using bunker spoon on the 7 can
between the channels. 4/20
Dotty M. landed a 4 lb 2 oz Flounder while fishing on
the Captain Dave on Plum Beach. 4/1
Captain Dave reported - 7 Flounder on opening day.
He will be fishing for Flounder until 4/15/10 - then
will be splitting the trips to 1/2 Flounder and 1/2
Striper. 4/1
Herring fishing on Canarsie Pier up to 90 per person on
Thursday. 4/1
Herring Fishing on the Walk Bridge in Sheepshead Bay up
to 50 per person on Thursday. 4/1
Striper and Flounder caught on 69th street pier and
along the Belt Parkway near Bay Street on Thursday. 4/1
Customers reported good catches of Flounder near Far
Rockaway High School. Fish were caught on
sandworms and mussels. Heavy chumming with clam
logs works best. 3/22
Customers reported excellent Striped Bass Fishing at
Pebble Beach in Port Amboy - Stripers up to 20 lbs on
clams. 3/22
Some customers also reported excellent Striped Bass
fishing North pf the George Washington Bridge using
Bloodworms. 3/20
Captain Dave reported catching 10 Cod and 24 Ling. 3/9
Many customers fished Montauk this past weekend -
the boats fished Block Island, the fishing was
great on Saturday with boats returning to the dock at 11
a.m. with all fares limited out. Sunday the
fishing was slow, Monday the fishing was the the same as
Saturday, with boats returning early and all fares
limiting out. Biggest fish were between 5 & 10
lbs, best fishing was done with jigs and jelly worm
teasers. A
couple of our customers fished Captree for Cod this
weekend, with fishing being OK but nearly as good as
Montauk. Captain
Dave from Sheepshead Bay reported only a few ling and
Cod taken this weekend. From
the Shore Herring fishing was excellent from Coney
Island Pier, best time was Sunset into the
darkness. Best Rigs were Tsunami Herring Rigs with
Dodgers. 2/1
Miss Montauk reports fantastic Cod Fishing over the

The Brooklyn fished the Oil Barge Wreck and reported
excellent mackeral fishing Sat & Sun. The fish
were mixed sizes and bit the whole day long. 1/5
Fares on the Brooklyn reported good mackeral fishing
during the week. Catches up to a half a cooler
reported. Monster ledge was the best area. 1/5
Herring fishing on Coney Island pier reported
excellent. Catches of over 100 fish reported on
Thursday and Friday. Best time was sunset into the
evening hours. Tsunami shrimp rigs have been
working best. 1/5
Received some cod fishing reports from Montauk.
Our guys reported a mixed bag of small cod and large
ling.
